Community Tasting Notes 1

December 10, 2017 - A rich dark wine, needs air, but it is only a $10 wine, so if you leave it too long in the glass or double decant, this will expose its limitations and it will fade away. As a superior house wine though, this is pretty good for an informal dinner with pasta on a winter's evening. Red forest fruits, well balanced bur with lots of alcohol, warm finish. Will keep for a while but I am surprised at other notes for vintages nearly 10 years on; I think it's best enjoyed when it remains vigorous.
