August 15, 2019 - Even a little better than the previous bottle.

January 29, 2019 - Dekantert. Blålilla farge. N: Kirsebær og mandelmasse. Fersk. M: godt bærpreg og forholdsvis fast struktur. Lang skallmaserasjon selv på Dolcetto setter Roagna-signaturen. Tørr avslutning og god lengde. Ypperlig til lasagnen.

October 11, 2018 - Three Dolcetti: While I like Dolcetto, I rarely find them to be exciting or complex. This one is pretty good and interesting to me. The wine smells nice but it is hard to describe. Light bodied and fresh, tangy darker toned fruits with light accents of fall spice and orange rind. A nice companion at the table.

October 3, 2018 - Light, earthy, rustic, tannic, not much bouquet, low alcohol , sipping wine that needs food, needs a bit more fruit, drank with tuna with cous cous, might drink again as it has character.

July 16, 2018 - First and foremost, you're missing out if not giving this a taste at cellar temp. The 2016 Roagna Dolcetto comes across as exactly what I would want and expect from a traditional Dolcetto, with a bouquet of crushed blackberries, wild herbs, violets, dried orange peel and hints of black earth and stone dust. On the palate, I found light, feminine textures with bright acids playing host to a mix of zesty black fruits and minerals. The finish was medium-long, as brisk acids pinched at the senses, leaving hints of tart blackberry and purple inner florals.

It's a great wine for warm weather sipping at cellar temp, but also fantastic with food.
