    January 16, 2023 - Good, lighter Syrah.

Echo the thought of someone else that it doesn’t have the depth of a solid northern Rhone. But very good. Consistent with other reviews.

Even after 3+ hours. Enjoyable and would go well with red sauces. Drink now but can hold further.

February 7, 2022 - Retail $30. Two Tiny 20ml bottles. 100% Syrah. I guess I would say that this wine is on the dark side of Syrah in color, but certainly in aromas with stewed blackberry, plum, and anise. The palate is far less "old" than the nose would suggest with good fruit and tartness, as well as some healthy tannins on the finish. Look, I can count on one hand how many Syrahs I have tried from Italy and that includes the three that I have tasted in the last handful of hours. While this would not be mistaken for a Northern Rhône beauty, it is still quite attractive in its own right.

April 13, 2020 - Italy--100% Syrah? What to say? A very floral deep garnet wine with smooth berry on the palate. Who knew? Lovely with baked shells with Ricotta, Mozarella and Parmesan in rich tomato sauce...yum!

February 28, 2019 - Right on the pop and pour, it was all bright red cherry and light bodied. If tasted blind, I would have thought Pinot for sure.

As it picked up some air, the cherry deepened and darkened, some tannins came in, and lots of nuance developed. I'm getting a little bit of tea, a little bit of earth, some acid. Still pretty light bodied and reserved. I like it, but I agree, this isn't 94 points. Still a great QPR though.

January 29, 2018 - I'm picking up all the components in the James Suckling review, I like the reserved style, and it's tasty ... but it's not 94-points-tasty to my palate. Will try the rest of the bottle with some food in the next few days, see if that makes it pop ...
