Community Tasting Notes 4

December 31, 2023 - 60% Serine and 40% Syrah. Distinct smokiness standing out on the nose, folded in with an otherwise floral and rich set of aromas. On the palate it was a true mouthful, with tobacco on top of classic (to me) Syrah creamy body. Strong tannins on the finish. This finished middle of the pack in our blind and comprehensive tasting of Northern Rhone. (Faury VV and Barruol Crozes-Hermitage Tiercerolles took top places).

September 30, 2023 - A little muddled, but not bad. Very pronounced veal note (butcher shop) on the nose, wow. A little demanding in a way, not really sure of what i think... was maybe hoping for more in the way of red fruit. Drink or hold, for my last bottle a hold >2026.

April 18, 2023 - Dark ruby. Black pepper, olives, minerality. Quite structured. It smoothed out somewhat over four days, but the structure certainly remained. This seems to have many years ahead.
