  August 21, 2014 - Wine Education Service - The Loire Valley (LSE): Just translucent, brown rim.
  Classic cabernet franc bouquet, sweet vegetables, beetroot and parsnip.
  Fruity attack, strong but soft tannins, needs food, quite long, would keep 2-4 years.

  May 9, 2013 - Really smoky tobacco filled nose, very savoury in style. The palate is much like the nose with nice cigar smoke flavours, still a good amount of bramble fruit and that same slight stalky-ness that was there in previous bottles. Very dry on the finish, more noticeable than previous bottles.

  March 31, 2013 - Slightly muted nose, coffee, chocolate, liquorice notes, along with slightly stewed red fruits. Mature. Light-bodied, more red fruit on the nose, strawberry, redcurrant, touch of blueberry. Very low tannins, still decent acidity. Pleasantly mature and not really for keeping any longer.

  March 29, 2013 - Much fresher than last bottle, still the same stalky nose and notes of smoky tobacco and blackcurrant fruit. Very savoury but feels a little more lifted than the last bottle. Still think its time to drink-up.

  October 31, 2012 - Very similar to the last bottle, but a bit brighter and less stalky. It's well balanced, there is still a lovely smoky tobacco character and the black fruits are a touch savoury which is enjoyable.
