October 21, 2021 - Another enjoyable bottle. As before, quite Burgundian. This bottle had the most sediment (tartaric acid crystals) I've ever run across in a white wine.

July 11, 2021 - Good middle-of-the-road Chardonnay, more old world style, but hints of ripe CA fruit peeking through. Very good structure and balance but still drinks on the ligther side. Drink 2021-2025. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 91.

February 9, 2021 - We really enjoyed this and like the label said, found this very Burgundian. Plenty of pronounced fruit but not overly done and strong acidity and moderate oak keep this balanced. Very good QPR at $26USD.

December 17, 2020 - Pronounced nose, big fruity flavor.

November 7, 2020 - As a second day wine - not great. More oak than fruit. Not a great predicter.

Appearance - clear, medium darker gold. Not med gold. You can see oak.

Nose - this has been open a few hours. I’m getting lots more oak now. Feels more CA oaked chard then I expected given the reference onbottle to a European feel. This is not a Burgundy. Apple, cinnamon, alcohol eye burn. Medium plus intensity. Nutty notes. Sweet. Almond.

Palate - medium plus intensity. Youthful, im guessing it is still coming together. Maybe a little young still. Apples, wood, creamy, spice, fruit feels clean, ripe, and fresh. Vanilla, alcohol feels med plus. Slight salinity on finish. Acidity is medium. Body is med/med Oakiness is front palate. I get the reference to Sauv Blanc on finish.

It’s growing on me as a fuller bodied Chard where you see the benefits of the oak. I feel European reference is aspirational vs reality.

It’s “fine” but not seeing the special or the unique to justify price to value
