  October 28, 2020 - What a marvelous find. Well-integrated tannins completely harmonious with balanced dark fruit and berry flavors, Unctuous mouthfeel. Firing on all cylinders now.

  September 19, 2018 - From south-west facing vineyards on the Schapenberg in Somerset West close to the ocean, decomposed granite soils, 11 year old vines, 100% destemmed, 30 day maceration, 23 months in 2nd and 3rd fill oak, 13.5% ABV. A very carefully made wine, with a lovely varietal character (tomato leaf, sour cherry), a ripe and energetic, fresh and grippy palate, pure style with little oak influence, good length. I really like the sense of integrity here. At The Crown, Bray-on-Thames, UK.
