May 9, 2024 - Stone fruit, loquat, almond oil ,persimmon leaf, rich and unctuous, vanilla and a hint of green pineapple.
Lots of concentration and body, just about enough acidity.
Full bodied burgundy with a broad palate. This has a lot of presence, it’s like wearing a Rolex deep sea !

May 20, 2023 - Classic Burgundy, with the expected rich, butteriness nicely balanced by acidity. Lovely nose,; good length. Nothing unpleasant on the finish. Very good value.

March 30, 2023 - Medium yellow, glowing. Quite simply delicious, you dive into citrus peel and subtle apricot and peach. Wonderfully full and round with inner strength and backbone, some wet stone and salt/brine as a balancing act. Such poise, I could drink this all day, every day. Is this really the Macon, and under £25? Brilliant release from The Wine Society - normally I buy the Cuvée Spéciale, this may stop that!

February 6, 2023 - Wine Society Burgundy Grower's Tasting: Like a meal in a glass. Very oaky, buttery, vanillin-central. Ripe, tropical, rich. The palate's more delicate than the nose but it's a bit of an assault all round! Just not my taste, although I can see others thinking this is great.
