April 23, 2023 - Rich fruit forward aromas of wild blackberry, black cherry, and spiced plum are met with notes of black liquorice, vanilla and cassis. Hefty, ample and concentrated with juicy acidity and ripe, smooth tannins. Flavour of dark fruit, dark chocolate, tobacco, liquorice, and spices that persist all the way to a firm finish.

April 9, 2023 - Decanted for 2 hours; classic Bella with huge ripe dark ripe fruit, plums, and dried herbs; moderately long finish with note of blueberry, raspberry and black pepper

April 22, 2022 - Opened with notes of blackberry, plum, graphite and allspice. Full bodied with a spicy, oaky finish. Went back to it after two hours and found a new, tamer, more balanced wine. Still plenty of fruit but the spiciness had mitigated.

February 25, 2022 - Smoky, peppery nose. Some meat and herbs too? Palate is fruitier but with a big structure, maybe more structure than fruit with toasty oak coming through for a long, fine tannic finish.

Bought a few of these wines 10+ years ago (different finish obviously). Have aged OK but stopped buying as all a little too much of fruit/oak bombs and seems not too much has changed.
