December 23, 2021 - This is a nice Chablis but a little heavy on the oak and a little soft on the palate. Seems slightly disjointed Perhaps it will integrate with some time. Good but not great. Three bottles very consistent.

October 23, 2018 - Domaine des Malandes dinner with Amandine Marchive (Chicago, IL): A slightly more reserved wine than the Fourchaume, this feels like it has the same amount of concentration and stuffing, but it is not on overt display. Instead, there is far more mineral extract here, and the fruit doesn't fan out as exuberantly. The texture here is a bit leaner as well, but this isn't an austere wine; just a bit more taut now. A bit of time might help this ease up.
