  👃 flint, smoke, Mirabelle, lime, stony, white flowers and nougat
  
  👄 medium++ body; all the 👃 promises but unlike last time much broader and far less crisp than last time with minimal developed old oak notes. This doesn’t make it in anyway not a fabulous German Chard which is now on apex.
  
  I clearly had the further development wrong but again really great wine to drink up now, unless it’s the bottle! Have one left.

  February 19, 2022 - Tasted over two days. Oak quite strong in the nose, some lemon and exotic fruits beside. Similar on the palate together with a mineral note. Guess and hope it is for the long run. At the moment you can find chardonnays delivering the same pleasure for half the price or even less but for me there is a deeper quality in this wine which could show off in three years +.

  August 15, 2019 - (Note created several weeks after tasting from memory). Surprisingly burgundian, nice spicy, herbal, slightly reductive, smokey nose. On the palate built much more on structure than on fruit. A lot of fun to drink, bottle disappeared quicker than I would have thought. Probably way too young, but still super enjoyable. Will keep the remaining bottles for a few years to see how it changes.
