August 20, 2023 - One of the best in my world. Fantastic nose with rose petals, black currant and roasted coffee.soft tannins well integrated with a little acidity. Will probably not be better, maybe different.

November 26, 2022 - Drank from a half bottle - showing good signs of things to come for the 750ml and magnum formats in time. Elegant wine. Red berries, violets, spice, clean lines and good flavour. Great depth of colour. Not a blockbuster - seems to be more in the classical Burgundy vein. Has enough acidity and fruit to carry for a few years. I like it.

February 4, 2022 - Writing this note because there is so much applause for this wine here. Love beaux monts for its nordic cleanness and love Daniel rion for its value for money. Nose very clean, almost flawless, red berries elegance is 100% here. in the mouth taste of a negociant wine: Dusty and non burgundy tobaccoed. Long almost clean aftertaste. Do not like 2016 too much, but true ripeness which leads to full bodied burgundies is not here. Good but not great effort

December 25, 2021 - Rich and flavorful , spicy, enjoyed on Christmas nice dark garnet color, will smooth out in a few more years but tasting well now

April 24, 2021 - Various red and black fruits, violets, lilacs, spice. Much better than Clos Vougeot from the same producer.
Still not an outstanding Beaux Monts.
