  December 5, 2014 - Very nicely mature, but still loads of life left. Star Anise, deep earth tones on a cedar core that it's had since release. Excellently balanced with a thick, full finish. Pretty delicious. Bought on release from the winery with perfect storage.

  November 6, 2008 - Drinking great today. Lots of secondary aromatics, and some left over primary fruit. Not much tertiary aromatics. Some mushroom, and sous-bois/forest/compost. Enjoyable, and an easy wine to drink. Tannins are perfectly blended into the wine. Full bodied and a fun wine to drink. The negatives were minimal.

  March 29, 2008 - Not decanted; consumed over 3.5 hours. Enjoyable wine that seems to be hitting its prime drinking window now. Last tasted almost 3 years ago, this has nice dark coloring, good black fruit flavors accompanied by tobacco, and a deep, rich mouthfeel that's a tad dry with several layers. None of the flabbiness or heat I found a few years back.
