February 3, 2022 - I have been drinking this over the past year, so no particular notes.
This has surely been a winner each time, esp the QPR.
in france this is about 10 /11 euros and it delivers. For a Cote du Rhone at this price it is perfect for some some grilling or burgers or even some red wine on Tuesday night.
It is medium body, decent grip and length and well balanced. I have no hesitation buying these.
The 2016 now is about as good as it will get. I would not hide one or two fo these to see where they will go. À point.

May 20, 2021 - A private lunch (Restaurant Breda, Amsterdam, NL): Bright and fresh, hint of liqueur, slender, elegant fruit, black pepper and warm spices, tight finish, good length.

    September 26, 2020 - A good Syrah.

March 19, 2020 - Some black pepper and light celery seed aromas. Follows to the palate. Lots of freshness. Light tannin. Most nuance grill mark on the palate.

January 26, 2020 - Pours youthfully ruby with just a hint of purple. Notably transparent to the core. 12.5% alcohol. Good young Northern Rhone typicity. The low intensity nose shows fresh blueberry, olive grove, black pepper, crushed granite, and the lightest touch of bacon. Certainly some reduction adding a bit of funk, which works in this example. The palate has light dusty tannin, high acid and light body, making this perfect for crushing with little contemplation. 24 hours later the secondary notes really came out emphasizing olive and pepper, improving this from 89 to 90 in my books.
