April 13, 2024 - Crystalline purity "as if I drink spring water." Medium golden with velvet soft texture, expressive medium acidity. Floral aromas with herbs and the slightest hint of oxidation maybe. Palate of stone fruit, lemon pith, acacia almond, and floral notes with a dash of sherry and minerality. Full body, very long structured finish, perfectly balanced, significant.
Impressive elegance, never overpowering or rich but so present.
Blend of Clairette, Grenache blanc, and Roussanne.
It only gets better...3 bottles left.

March 31, 2023 - Medium golden, vibrant, viscous with slow-moving tears, 13% abv. Floral aromas with honey, peach and acacia, caramel, thyme. Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol and full body. Palate of peach, apricot, lemon, wood/oak(?), acacia, almond and caramel indicating ever so slight oxidation. Generous mouthfeel, amazing wide-ranging attack. Great finish, lingering and impactful and defined with some pepper notes adding zest.
Dinner wine or, as we did, as aperitif with savory snacks.

    May 21, 2020 - A: Pale lemon
N: Medium (+) intensity of white flowers, chamomile, oatmeal, apple, peach, lemon, toast, hay
P: Dry, medium (+) acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity and medium (+) finish
C: I like the ripeness and the acid balance. There is also a good balance between the primary, secondary and tertiary in here. I assume the toast is coming from an oak barrel. The intensity is of note and the finish too. I would say its a Very Good Quality wine here.

    Guesses:
I thought of the moderate to warm climate and the riper fruit and thought Macon Villages chardonnay

    Mistakes
The acidity was too high for my guess. This is my first ever CDP blanc.
