Community Tasting Notes 5

April 30, 2024 - Black cherry color to go with red cherry and plum fruit. A little bit of rhubarb in the mix. Some clove toward the end. Short finish. Nice, but not memorable.

February 18, 2024 - Traditional nose. Plum-cherry-spice flavors fading but hold on in an understated core. It doesn't offer as much as it once did, but it remains smooth and drinkable.

July 27, 2022 - Popped and poured. Medium garnet color. Medium+ intensity nose out of the gate with notes of black cherry, roasted plum, a bit of clove/baking spice, orange peel and perhaps a hint of dried wood in the background. Similar flavors on the palate with ripe and juicy fruit with orange peel and some well integrated oak notes. Medium+ acid, medium tannin. Smooth mouthfeel and finish. Delicious, well made bottle of Sonoma pinot.

November 10, 2020 - nice dark plum fruit. Full bodied

February 21, 2019 - Good red fruit on the nose, raspberries and even some plum. Medium weight with decent balance. Tasted over a period of two days and the under layers of earthiness and mushrooms opened up on the second day. Not a candidate for long term ageing but a couple of years will help.
