March 31, 2021 - Lovely light ruby in the glass. Nose is quite subtle, but that seems reasonable considering the age of this wine. All fruit, no signs of development at the moment. This restrictive character goes onto the palate as well. It typically reflects what Barbaresco is all about - elegance, sophistication and vivacity. Lovely structure that will give this wine decades of aging ability. Wait a couple of more years before cracking it open.
