January 27, 2021 - red currant, black cherries, bramble berry, fresh cut herbs, earth, cigar box, chocolate, oak spice, pepper and dried florals.
Aromatic, intense on the palate, nice freshness to it. 15's are coming around, just give it time. 6 hour decant. -

March 20, 2019 - This rich and woodsy Cabernet tastes a bit muddled at the moment, with a lot of noisy fruit but not a lot of the nuance and elegance that Spring Mountain can deliver. Ruby red in color; full in body; nose of blueberry, mocha, fresh sawdust, and cedar. Tastes of boysenberry, plum, black licorice, and bay leaf, with a grainy and dusty finish, with only a hint of sweetness. Decant at least an hour, but this will probably be better in 2020 or later: it just tastes a bit unformed right now. 14.9% alcohol.
