April 17, 2024 - Smooth, mature moderate fruit cab. Its worth the 8 year wait. Stand alone and witg pizza it was terrific

December 10, 2023 - One hour decant. Deep dark intense magenta color. Blackberry, candied black cherry, blueberry, dark chocolate covered pecans, and subtle mushroom. Super smooth, dry palate, with ultra fine acidity. Voluptuous tannins on the longish finish.
Enjoyed this with short rib at Sistina (WS Grand Award) in Manhattan. This rich CS continued improving through dinner. It was just a touch more sweet-nosed than I like (without enough balancing notes). Wonderful way to end our belated anniversary trip.1 person found this helpful Comments (4) -
