June 2, 2019 - Some Old World funk on the nose, but not a ton. Definitely high acid (it makes the front of my tongue curl up). Palette has notes of leather, smoke, maybe almost a hint of tart citrus (but that could just be the acid). Possibly vegetative notes underneath all that, but I can't quite tell. Quite nice, especially for the price, but may be hard to drink too often due to the high acid (much as I normally like high acid wines).

July 8, 2018 - Muted and kinda flabby. Missing that spice and earth. I don’t think time would’ve brought that back.
