Community Tasting Notes 5

  • Christopheroz Likes this wine:

April 8, 2023 - Beautiful light golden colour. Oily kerosene mouth feel, elegant and full. Ageing so well.

  • Christopheroz Likes this wine:

March 31, 2023 - I now sense the onset of ageing - after a patient wait. Delicate lime fruit on the palate, and now also a slight touch of oil and honeyed character. Subtle and elegant. Very enjoyable. Probably has another 5-10 years too

January 18, 2023 - A touch of oil (in a good way) starting to form. But I’m not sure that this will ever be a great Vouvray style wine. Competent

  • Christopheroz Does not like this wine: 90 points

September 18, 2020 - Grassy, lime. But I think it’s no longer fresh and not yet old enough to be interesting. I’d leave it another 5 years and try again

March 1, 2018 - Quick NZ Cellar Doors: Grassy, lime, apple and passionfruit. Medium bodied intensity, with enough acidity to give it a kick along. Medium length as well, this flows nicely. Drink over the next 4-5 years.
