  Medium-deep yellow-green color. Powerful and very yeasty nose with aromas of sharp green apple tones, sappy herbal notes, some white peach, light developed caramel notes that remind me of red ale, a little bit of chalky mienrality, an autolytic hint of bread crust and a floral touch of apple blossom. The wine is ripe, moderately full-bodied and quite high in acidity with rather ripe flavors of sweet golden apples, some yeasty autolysis, a little bit of ripe lemony citrus fruits, light notes of bruiche, a hint of slightly bitter quince and a touch of white peach. Quite smooth, fine and persistent mousse. The finish is crisp, lively and refreshing with long, dry and juicy flavors of golden apples, some beeswax, a little bit of chalky mineral bitterness, light stony mineral notes, a hint of honey and a touch of grapefruit lemonade.
  
  A stylish, ripe and still relatively yeasty Riesling Sekt that comes across as less autolytic and more straightforward than vintages 2008 and 2009 that were tasted alongside. If this wine is going to head in the direction of the previous vintages, it's quite safe to say there's really no need to open up this wine yet; it's nice and refreshing, but there's still a lot of potential for future development left. A good wine, but not at the level of the previous two vintages.
