March 5, 2018 - Tasted at the Skurnik Grand Portfolio Tasting in NYC. Poured by Philippe Blanck. This was my first time tasting wines from this Domaine and I thought all were quite good and worth seeking out for their good value and quality overall. All organically farmed and made with indigenous yeasts with plenty of terroir-expression. The Pinot Gris 'Classique' is from 35 year old vines and is quite easy drinking with moderate acidity and typical pear flavor. Probably good with food or as an aperitif. Good, but not great QPR at high-teens to low-twenties USD at retail.
