  May 29, 2022 - Fantastic wine. Decanted for two hours and I wish I would've opened it sooner. Still has a long way to go.

  November 30, 2021 - Fully formed round flavor profile with apricots, melon, straw all present.

  March 30, 2021 - No notes taken. I’ve had this wine before at a small vertical tasting back in 2019 and was not overly impressed. The older vintages of 2013 and 2014 showed much better, especially some great bottles of the 2013. In order to get a bottle of the 2013, I had to purchase a 2015. I was surprised how well this showed today. In the past two years, this wine opened up, became more expressive and precise and shows today more complex and balanced. Medium+ expressive on the nose and palate with a lot of fresh citrus and apple notes, no tropical fruits and especially a very intriguing and beautiful saltiness along with wet slate aromas. This is my cup of Californian Chardonnays. Light and airy, not at all oily and rather Burgundian with just a touch Napa sexiness. 93/94
