October 12, 2022 - Last one of these in my cellar and still crushing it. My wife said it was like putting on a cashmere sweater, smooth and enveloping. Dark cherry notes and other black fruit. No signs of slowing down, but drinking beautifully. Blackberries and spicy black plum. Meaty and rich, with alcohol there but in the background. Spice notes as well as it reminded me of Christmas Glugg.

July 12, 2022 - Black cherry and black raspberry notes on the nose. Between medium and full bodied (14.6% ABV) with black cherry and black raspberry the dominant fruit notes both upfront and through the middle. There's more body here overall as well as more depth through the middle as compared to the 2013 Antica Terra Ceras this was drunk alongside. Blackberry and tart black cherry come in on the backside along with spices and a balanced mix of tannins and acidity. Though the wine overall was more structured than the Ceras, when combined with the deeper, darker, fruit, the result was a wine that actually shows remarkable balance. This wine has the backbone to continue to evolve positively and while I don't see it adding much more in terms of complexity, I expect it will continue to gain from a balance perspective over the next year or so.
