May 17, 2020 - 5/17/2020 I enjoyed this wine. Richard Sanford is an icon of California wine. It is a privilege to enjoy his wines over so many years. I visited his Sanford winery back when my first son was 2 in July of 1993 and we were greeted by a three legged dog. We enjoyed the wines in a aluminum covered Quonset hut styled tasting room. Nothing pretentious but obviously a memorable experience. For me the wines are just as memorable today as they were in 1993.
