  September 4, 2009 - I opend this bottle after reading the reviews that it was over the hill in 2007. I found the bottle to be excellent, however, it is possibly over peak and should be opened sooner than later. The nose had tobacco and eucalyptus. Tannins are soft with full rich mouthfeel and moderate finish. Flavors of raisin dominate but there is some complexity left with notes of spice and wood.

  January 15, 2005 - Interesting wine....carnuba wax on the nose, but a save on the pallet.....blackberry, blueberry and some eucalyptus (sp?). We had it with rosemary lambcops....drank well enough that I was not disappointed...but not the best wine I've had for the price. Also, not sure this wine is getting better. Tannins were very mild and wine was not complex enough to evolve. 84 pts.
