Community Tasting Notes 1

November 24, 2019 - Jean-Pierre Reniard Burgundy Wine Seminar (Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant): Tasted in Riedel Burg glass. Aired about 4+ hours in bottle already.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of earth, dark red cherries, bit of game meat. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, meaty game, leather, earth. Long finish.
Good quality. Nice drink. Performing as it should for a heavier style Clos Vougeot from the clayey bottom of the Clos. Seems rather evolved already. Drink earlier rather than later.
