December 11, 2023 - Slight kick from alcohol that dissipated after 2 hours in decanter. Light on body palate and nose. Similar on second day.

August 22, 2023 - Dark blackberries, and fresh, red fruits bend together perfectly with all the spice, tobacco, espresso bean, and smoke nuances in the nose. Medium-bodied, vibrant, elegant, energetic, and showing a cool, touch of mint on the palate, this is going to be even better in a few years, though it can be enjoyed in its youth. Drink from 2024-2045.

October 15, 2022 - The nose on this is so delicious, I’m compelled to make another note just how much I like it. If Blind, I might think a really fine high end Cab franc. Floral , sweet but light, lot of Cassis, just a really bright calon segur. The nose is addicting, yet the palate doesn’t take too much of a backdrop. Probably among the best of 2017. Money. 94-95+

June 2, 2022 - Bordeaux 2017 wine tasting at mezza9 in Singapore. 4h decant. Medium purple color. Dusty black cherries and blueberries, green capsicum, a touch of vanilla, wet forest floor, black spices on the nose. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, Med flavor intensity, dry tannins, med finish. Nice fruit, good greenness, spiciness, lingering salinity, nice minerality. Very nice effort and already drinking well.
