February 11, 2023 - Red and dark fruit, ripe and lively, some chalk and earth, but a stern, tannic finish. Great potential, but needs more time.

Fine grained and detailed, with wisps of oak and berry fruit underneath but overall shut down and not showing much, even after a double decant. March 1, 2022 - This is not a common 1er cru in Volnay for me.
it is adjacent to the Pommard,s Northern border.Drinking well now.
Medium red in colour, good acidity, great sweetness with some dryness on the back of the palate from the tannins. Great intensity of dark fruit /sour cherry favours. Opens up and mellows on the palate as you finish the bottle. A refreshing wine.
