February 4, 2019 - Drank this at home with my family over CNY reunion dinner.

Deep crimson in colour with notes of wild violets, liquorice, some mushrooms, toffee, slightly tannin but very well balanced, and a very smooth finish.

A blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese, this wine is young, fresh and lively, with a good structure, high acidity and a touch of sweetness.

November 21, 2018 - Bright, fresh, unoaked thirst quencher. Red plums and some pleasing black tea bitterness and spritziness make this a nice quaffer. Also good with simple food because of the fresh acidity but very short flavoured and expensive for what it is. Presumably there's a premium for it being organic? £10.99, Wholefoods.
