Community Tasting Notes 5

November 11, 2023 - Bright acidity, lemons and limes, a touch green bell pepper pyrazines, stony minimality. God but lacking some of the zippy vivacity of the best Grüners.

August 31, 2023 - Very pleasant . Popped and poured at 40 degrees F. Lemon/lime, orange peel, some white pepper on the nose. Very pleasing on the palate with medium body and mid palate richness. Medium finish. Perfect (medium minus) alcohol. I would confuse this blind. I don’t get the predominance of white pepper. Sill, it is a lovely wine. Also for 2017, still tasting very young

December 31, 2018 - DMG drank on NYE. After sometime opened up and got very typical for GV.

December 4, 2018 - Stony minerality, elegant and fresh style, but with delightfully ripe fruit (ripe pear, green apple), lemon zest, ripe white pepper, juicy and lively, pure and precise, lovely balance (12.5% ABV) and harmony, very good resonance and length. Marries considerable finesse with an almost weightless intensity, Needs 12-24 months to show of its best, score partially based on potential, 90-91 right now. Well worth the € 20 which I paid for it.
