July 12, 2022 - fused tannins, still very alive thanks to acidity, dark garnet red, ripe black fruit,mushroom, some spice, long finish, pairing very well with châteaubriand béarnaise and pommes frites

February 4, 2022 - Légèrement ambré.Nez encore très puissant de fruits, cuir et poivre. Tannins fondus. Légèrement acidulé , avec une longueur en bouche interminable malgré l'âge du vin. Très bon!!

December 25, 2019 - Bilberries and blackberries, oaky with vanilla and mace, wet earth, decent structure from pronounced but round tannins, quite nice but a bit too rustic and flat in the middle to score higher.

November 28, 2019 - Verticale du Château Montus cuvée Prestige: Joli nez , une bouche beaucoup plus ronde que Montus, le contraste est saisissant. Un joli vin aimable et savoureux, un peu rustique. Une confrontation nettement à l'avantage du Montus Prestige sur ce millésime. 88 pts
