May 3, 2024 - Another bottle of the same vintage and I can only confirm the first note. Drunk over two evenings the wine is clearly better on day two. A stunning qpr and definitely decant.

April 22, 2024 - 3 hours in a decanter. Up against 2013 dunn Napa Valley 2013 paolo Scavino bric del fiasc and 2008 circa cab franc. Definitely the biggest wine of the group, unfortunately it was also everyone's least favorite. It probably improved a little over the course of the evening but it seemed very heavy and very dark fruited. Maybe it needs a lot more cellar time but I expected more for its price point and I would not buy again. While not a bad wine i think there are Much better Shiraz for the money.

March 24, 2024 - Black purple in color, the wine is full of plum sauce, roasted meat, cassis and syrupy blackberry. Quality new world Syrah, with lots of stuffing, yet elegant and precise.

March 4, 2024 - 45 minute decant. Nose of dark black fruits, fresh sage, and cedar/spruce isn't particularly expressive but lets you know this is a "big" wine. Dense and syrupy palate with rich blackberry, dark blueberry pie, dark chocolate, black peppercorns, savory herbs, thistle, and elderberry. Plush tannins on the finish with dark cherry, black plum, coffee grounds, mint and caramel notes.
