Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Eudemis Likes this wine:

June 19, 2022 - 12.5% alcohol. Petit Manseng 100%. 50 cl bottle with a good long cork. Engaging colour of a youngish Cognac.
Lovely nose of yellow fruit, not that intense; quince in the mouth with a lovely mouthfeel and great balance.
This is correctly described as moelleux rather than liquoreux, and at this stage the perception of sweetness is minimal. Understated but not undistinguished. Perfect as an apéritif.
