Community Tasting Notes 5

August 6, 2022 - Dark ruby, very ripe strawberries, garrigue, fine tannin, some heat on the finish. A big, complex rosé that drinks more like a light red

January 20, 2019 - Full bodied rosé from great Rhône house.

July 16, 2018 - A delicious rose, invariably one of my favorites, particularly during the summer. The 2017 rendition is quite approachable today, lovely almost florescent pink. Nose is floral without smelling sweet, showing hints of rose petals and orange peel, honeysuckle. The wine manages to be just barely ripe without being at all overly ripe, great acidity, and has a rich almost tannic structure that envelops and sets off the fruit. First rate stuff, hard to find this year (low production) but really worth the effort.

July 12, 2018 - Rosé med Auzone (Auzone, Stockholm, Sweden): Beautiful deep pink/cerise colored, canned béarnaise sauce, tarragon, margarine, raspberry popsicle, overripe strawberries, warm.
