July 21, 2015 - Wow! Im so happy I waited to drink this bottle. It was singing after 15 minutes. Opened up into layers of creamy cassis and velvety plush black cherries. I wish I had another!

October 23, 2009 - Very nice Merlot. Mellows nicely in the glass. Maybe a tiny bit too much lingering tartness, but this vintage is drinking well now. Probably overpriced for what you're getting (have had comparable Merlots without as much wallet damage), but all part of drinking anything from Napa these days it seems.

July 12, 2009 - Youthful appearance, deep ruby/purple core, narrow pale ruby rim. Open, intense nose with bright rich red berry fruit, plenty of toasty oak, hint of chocolate and spice. Medium/full bodied on the palate, prominent fleshy tannins, rich, ripe red and darker berry fruit, toasty oak, then some lovely fresh acidity carries a good length if somewhat firmly tannic finish. Tannins may harmonise with time. At the moment enjoyable, with great balance of rich fruit and vibrant acidity, but a little full on (for my taste) and lacking complexity and guile. May well improve.

March 8, 2009 - What an incredible disappointment. Muted nose; thin on the palate; no finish. It did not open up during 3-4 hours.
