January 7, 2023 - As before, only without the reductiveness. Lean tropical fruit in front of a lightweight mineral core with a fairly quick finish. Literally pales in comparison with a 14 year old Chalone chard... don't breathe too hard, or this one might fall over. Sometimes a delicate wine is pretty in its delicacy. I don't think so here, this is just limp and a bit tired.

July 19, 2019 - This has a very pretty, if faint, nose of lemon compote and a little reductive smokiness. Tart and thin in the mouth with no real complexity. The finish is short and gone before you know it, like water going down. Disappointing because I liked the 2015 and this was the same $18 “closeout” price and has 20% Maresh fruit. Was hoping for more, you guys.

June 30, 2019 - Lean, angles, underripe tropical fruit in front of a slender, mineral-heavy core and a slightly reductive finish on fair acidity. Good personality... quite distinct from the much bigger and more expressive 2015. Definitely worth a shot at blowout prices.
