November 3, 2023 - I will increase to 93 - the balance is better and I am also getting a longer aftertaste - a really nice glass of wine where you get cherries and cranberries . you also get tobacco - good value for money.

May 13, 2023 - My second bottle - had the fist one 1 1/2 years ago - and the wine has improved mostly on the aftertaste that clearly is longer and more pronounced - more comments see my last rating - will stay at solid 92.

March 2, 2023 - Medium-deep ruby color. Full body, medium acid, medium-to-medium-plus acid , medium-to-medium plus tannins. Deep red fruit and vanilla on the nose, with licorice and tobacco added on the palate. Very heavy with drying tannins leaving a bitter lasting impression.

August 17, 2022 - Very yummy now. Open.

January 29, 2022 - Light color and when first opened there was a sweat sock funk that blew off after a few mins in the glass.

Nearly 2 hrs breathing in the bottle the nose shows light cherry, strawberry and forest floor. Soft and fruity wine with more than enough tannic structure to keep this interesting.

While we’re still growing our understanding of Tuscan wines, this is perfect with tonites pan seared salmon and curried cauliflower. I’d be much happier w QPR at the CT average bottle cost, not as much at the $60 purchased at the winery last fall.
