March 31, 2024 - The color of this Chianti Classico is medium ruby with garnet reflexes. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of red cherries, strawberries, ripe blackberries, black tea, cedar wood, little smoke. On the palate the flavors are also pronounced and similar to the nose with sour cherries in addition. This medium bodied wine has a high acidity with medium(+) tannins which are very nicely polished. The finish is very long. I like this Chianti Classico very much. It's at the beginning of its drinking window with many years ahead of it. Glass I used: Zalto Universal

March 24, 2024 - Really something special here. Beautiful floral nose and a complex, but well balanced chianti with a good amount of black pepper and spice. I’m surprised by other’s reviews as I think it’s in a great drinking window at the moment. Maybe because of the quick decant? Can’t wait to see this evolve. Decanted in case of sediment (none) and consumed immediately over the next several hours
