Community Tasting Notes 5

October 21, 2008 - Very bright pretty garnet color. Relatively light body. Earthiness, a touch of something that reminded me of mouthwash (not unpleasant) and then the cherries. Enjoyable.

June 6, 2008 - Purple color. Nose: fruity, raspberry or red currant. Palate: smooth tannins. Long and nice finish.

    January 20, 2008 - Paid $25

Nice light color. Interesting nose of earth, green herbs (parsley), and tart cherries. Extremely dry in the mouth. Very tart cherries and a finish of crushed black pepper and a grassy and green bell-pepper mix. I liked the flavor profile, but a bit too dry for my taste.

December 7, 2006 - Quick note in passing - Christmas party wine. Actually very good, good typicity, classic Beaune-ish burg with haute cote rusticity. Better than expected. And drinking well now.
