Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Cabfrancophile Likes this wine:

September 15, 2019 - Rich but fresh, lemon curd, rounded mid-palate. Not as aromatic as I prefer in a white wine, but also quite a bit of depth and nothing out of place.

June 4, 2019 - Up the PCH; 6/4/2019-6/16/2019 (Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Paso Robles, Napa, and Willamette): Really liked this chardonnay blend from Barden. I got a lot of toasted brioche, candied apples, pear.

Burgundy blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris (per tasting room, about 1/3 each)
    La Encantada Vineyard (76%)
    La Rinconada (12%)
    Donnachadh (12%)

Barrel fermented in 55 degree winery, malolactic fermentation and battonaged for 3 months.
