March 27, 2019 - The grape in this wine is Hasandede snd this estate is the only place in the world where this grape is still grown. Pale lemon with green tinges, pear and apricot fruit on the nose and the palate with around, soft texture and tangy, salty finish. Distinctive and very enjoyable and a rare grape to tick off my varietal bingo card!

March 22, 2019 - This grape is new to me. Not much nose at first. Overwhelmingly citrus flavours on the palate (mainly lemon). Some fragrance and delicate herb notes (fennel, aniseed?) with hints of spice as it opened in the glass. Fair balance and good mouthfeel. Quite long with lemon, lemon curd and lemon zest flavours flavours lingering. Not sure at first but it grew on me as it opened. Better with food.
