August 6, 2023 - {screwcap, 13.5%} Still a blueish tinged garnet. Plums on the nose, black pepper, hint of malt. Seems cool-climate, but very ripe. The palate is medium-bodied, with low dusty tannins and medium acidity. It's gently savoury in character, tasting as the nose promised, but always with a sweet fruit twist, and has an even, gentle palate, finishing about medium length. Perhaps a touch on the simple side, but still pretty nice.

November 2, 2021 - Opened early. Very deep colour. Some fragrance with brambly fruit and some spice on the nose. Good fruit on the palate; dry but rather austere with forward, unbalanced acidity at this stage, in my view. It is perhaps too early to find this at its best but I expected more, given the reputation of this wine and its very high price in UK.

May 19, 2021 - Seriously good. Intense nose, full bodied, black fruits, pepper and great length. Develops well over a few hours. Great now and will probably improve over the next couple of years, but why wait.
