    December 26, 2023 - Vivid purple and red 75% obscured. Nose of baked blackberry pie, warm spice and leather. Palate is full with flavor and powdery tannins, medium + weight with medium + /higher acid, blackberry and raspberry fruit, with touches of oxidative champagne apple, with more leather and some tart malactic in finish. Long-lasting, Im pleased with where the wine is today. 4 more bottles I’ll plan to drink over next 5 years.

    December 24, 2023 - This was served with the prime rib main course. In a party atmosphere it is hard to focus but I found the wine to be quite mature, smooth on the palate, moderate tannins, concentrated fruit.

    February 5, 2022 - First of 6 bottles. Drinking youthfully, don't be afraid to decant or sit on these for another 5-10 years. Promising balance of fruit and oak.
