July 8, 2021 - After enjoying this in the past, bought 2b for 6+/b from a local gourmet produce market last spring; this is #1. Screwcap. Medium pink; simple nose and palate with bit of strawberry, good mouthfeel. Overall simple and past prime--better when fresh but still enjoyable for everyday. Stored vertically in a cool, dark basement since purchase. Quality, price, age: Notable.

July 12, 2018 - I had this with smoked chicken on 7/12/18. It had a musty, pungent bouquet of cherry, mushroom, mold and herbal aromas. The palate was rich, earthy and dusty dry with flavors of cherry, mushroom, earth and herbs.
