March 4, 2023 - What can I say, this was a “Wow!” wine.
From the get-go this was unabashedly fragrant. Loads of blackberry pie and plums, whiffs of licorice, bell pepper, coffee and something animal-like. This falls somewhere in between Napa and Bordeaux in terms of texture and structure. There is lively acidity and mouth-coating, velvety tannins. The finish goes on and on and evolves as it tapers off. -

February 26, 2023 - Drank after a 3 hour decant. Beautiful and well rounded. Perfectly paired with the ribeye. Still has lots of fruit and acid.
