  February 18, 2024 - A ton of oak but this one feels balanced out with age. Easy drinking blend, with atypical dark fruit flavors and cherry, along with cocoa and spice. The finish is earthy, and the wine stays with you as you sip. Lovely food wine.

  June 1, 2023 - The last Flora Springs Trilogy in my collection. These are so, so good. And so, so balanced. These age forever, but I was concerned about the slightly elevated cork so this one got the knife! A nose of brier patch fruits. Smoky black cherry cola and fig jam. Brambleberry graham cracker. Herbal middle and finish. Medium+ density with lighter tannins and a bit of a black pepper finish but overall quite smooth. This was served with a pulled pork slider and pushed all the buttons for me. Very good red fruit backbone wine. Drink with a 1 hr decant or hold for 10 years.
