December 18, 2019 - Tasted blind. Deep purple. Med intensity nose, with unripe black fruit, earth, savory herbs. No perceptible oak. The palate is dry, with med + acidity and tannins. High alcohol (14%). Med (+) body and flavor intensity, med finish. Good quality. Drink now, not likely to improve with further aging. Thought it was a N. Rhone Syrah. Great value at <$17. OK value at <$27.
