February 23, 2014 - rubin red color, typical of the grape; curious that after 15+ years no garnet glimpse appear; the wine seems still pretty young and pretty acid. Only after 1h some feeble scents of ripe berries appear and acidity softnens. Oak not evident. Medium lenght. Wait some years, not so pleasant today

December 25, 2013 - rubin red color, typical of the grape; although a 1998 vintage, the wine seems still pretty young with some acidity smoothing hour by hour while decanting in my 75cl baloon. After 1h some scents of ripe berries appear and acidity softnens, revealing the true texture and nature of the wine. Oak not evident. Medium lenght. Wait a couple of years. 89

January 26, 2002 - Sydney MW Summer School; 1/26/2002-1/27/2002 (Sydney Airport Stamford Hotel): Floral but restrained nose. Flavours of bubblegum, light body; tastes fresh but gently ripe despite an introverted character. Seems warm climate in character, but not a very long finish.
